Nike x Girls Got Game

A Home for Dreams 🏡

In collaboration with Nike and Girls Got Game, we created two home courts for Girls Got Game’s young Filipina campers. As part of Nike’s Play New campaign, the courts serve as safe spaces for these young girls to learn, grow and play. A new home for dreams, the courts also aim to inspire them to move towards their dreams—no matter how big or small.

I had the greatest pleasure of creating the court designs, which were painted by Honeycomb Arts on two refurbished multipurpose courts at Sacred Heart Academy in Santa Maria, Bulacan, Philippines.

Outdoor Court

The Outdoor Court represents the Now, which shows the young girls playing different sports such as volleyball, basketball, football and rugby.

Indoor Court

The Indoor Court represents the Future, which shows the young girls as women leading their own lives and pursuing different career paths.

“We want to make sure that even those girls who basically are coming mostly from the provinces will have at least a first-hand experience of playing in the court one day to help them or inspire them that they could pursue and continue living their dreams.”

Key Visuals

Apart from the two home courts, I also created several key visuals that represent the girls of Girls Got Game. These visuals were incorporated into my Nike By You x Jill Arteche collection, which was featured as another aspect of the Play New campaign.
