Laughter is the only honest art form that springs life to every human being. One can never speak enough of the power of shared laughter, a zealous universal connection.

In her 2nd solo exhibition titled “Funny Faces”, Jill Arteche highlights comical emotions and candid ordinary expressions that hope to create a common ground for connection and open communication. Her arresting compositions of wacky and overdramatic facial expressions hope to compel the audience to reassess these mundane scenes that are often taken for granted. At the same time, these also hope to encourage them to embrace more joy and laughter in living.
